Kota Kinabalu Journal of Public Health and Community Medicine (KKJPHCM) is committed to supporting open-access publishing while maintaining high standards of academic quality, integrity, and accessibility.

To support researchers and promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge in public health and community medicine, the journal applies the following author fee policy:

Author Fees

Article Submission Fee: USD 0.00 (Free)
There is no charge for submitting a manuscript to this journal.

Article Processing Charge (APC) / Publication Fee:

Option A (Jika Gratis):
USD 0.00 (Free)
KKJPHCM does not charge any article processing or publication fees. All accepted articles are published free of charge.

Option B (Jika Berbayar):
Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after their manuscript has been accepted for publication. The APC covers editorial handling, peer review management, copyediting, layout editing, and digital archiving. Detailed payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance.

Waiver Policy

KKJPHCM may consider partial or full APC waivers for authors from low-income countries, early-career researchers, or under institutional partnership agreements, subject to editorial approval.

Open Access Commitment

All articles published in KKJPHCM are made freely available online under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), ensuring unrestricted access, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution.
