Posting Article Policy

Kota Kinabalu Journal of Public Health and Community Medicine (KKJPHCM) publishes all articles through an online system to ensure accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in the publication process.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, scientific validity, and relevance of the content. Only manuscripts that meet the journal’s standards and ethical requirements will be accepted for publication.

Accepted articles proceed through several production stages, including:

  • Copyediting to improve clarity, consistency, and language quality
  • Layout editing to ensure proper formatting and publication standards
  • Proofreading to finalize the manuscript before publication

All accepted articles are published online in full-text format (PDF and/or HTML) on the journal’s official website for immediate access by readers.

KKJPHCM applies a continuous publication system, meaning that articles are published individually as soon as they complete the editorial and production process, without waiting for a full issue to be finalized. This approach ensures faster dissemination of important scientific findings in public health and community medicine.

All published articles are made available as open-access content, allowing readers worldwide to access, read, and download them freely without subscription barriers.

To enhance discoverability and ensure long-term preservation, the journal also ensures that all published articles are properly indexed, archived, and preserved in relevant academic databases and digital preservation systems.
